AGC Partners to Deliver K–12 Teacher Professional Development

In March of 2024, AGC Oregon-Columbia Chapter piloted a professional development project for high school construction teachers. In collaboration with the Southern Oregon ESD, Lane ESD, the Oregon Housing Authority, and the Southern Oregon JATC at Klamath Community College, construction teachers came together for a two-day build project designed to bring industry aligned projects into high school classrooms and also support the goal of creating emergency lodgings for people impacted by disaster. A big thanks to our participating contractor members for their contributions: Hamilton Construction Co., Bogatay Construction Inc., Morello Construction LLC., Modoc Contracting Inc. and Granite Construction Co.
